Kangertech is still one of the leaders in sales of starter kits and the legendary tanks of the Subtank series, but times are changing and customers want something more. This time they decided to release something more powerful, but it turned out so-so. I present to you the new serviceable tank Protank 4 Evolved.

I’m not a fan of Kangertech products and I don’t particularly like the design of their devices, in my opinion it’s boring. I didn’t notice any special changes in the design of the new device; it looks, in my opinion, still the same nondescript and dull. But don’t throw stones at me if your opinion doesn’t coincide with mine; I’ve never had any complaints about the functionality of their products. online vaping shop in australia I have no information on the available tank colors, but as we all know, Kangertech colors are black, white, red and steel. I only found the steel version.

The tank consists of a body, an RBA base, a tank cap and a drip tip. It disassembles almost completely and can be washed without problems. The glass is most likely not removable due to the design of the tank. In this situation, you will have to say goodbye to the tank if the glass is damaged, or use tape.

Let’s start with the top of the tank. At the base of the drip tip there are adjustable holes for additional airflow, designed to cool the vapor at the outlet, but in my opinion, this solution is more suitable for atomizers designed for 200 watt power. The refill hole has a child safety lock, but I’ll call it the lack of a convenient top refill. To refill the tank, you need to unscrew the top part, pull it up, turn the locking ring for the refill hole and only then fill in the liquid, the volume of which will be 5 ml. This protection is adjusted to new European standards, which have a very negative impact on the comfort when using Kangertech products. I have a feeling it will only get worse.

Now let’s move on to the bottom of the tank, to its base. I called the tank serviceable, but it has the ability to use replaceable evaporators. The package includes two of them: 0.5 ohm for ceramics and 1.5 ohm for a cigarette puff. Among other things, the tank has a convenient RBA base with Velocity struts; I think there’s no point in talking about it. The only thing I want to highlight is the microscopic fluid supply holes, which seem to have difficulty passing 70/30 fluid, but in practice several video reviewers have proven that there are no problems with the fluid supply. The airflow is from the bottom and consists of two holes under the spirals on the inside and two fairly large, adjustable holes on the outside. If I’m not mistaken, then, like other Kangertech tanks, there will also be a “preset for a cigarette puff.” A very important feature is that the replaceable evaporators and RBA base are suitable for Subtank and Toptank and vice versa.

Due to the regulation of the ES market, Kangertech is the first to gradually slip into despondency. At the moment, we only have the most inconvenient refueling, and filling the tank through the bottom is much easier and more convenient than through the top. But what happens next? Fortunately, the RBA base is compatible with other atomizers of the company, and I would easily insert it into the Toptank, vape and not sweat. Or I would use ceramic evaporators. I guess that’s all I like about this tank. The flavor transfer from the tank is decent, due to the tight tightening. Additional airflow on the drip tip is unnecessary, since the liquid supply and bottom airflow are not powerful enough for high powers. I would not purchase this tank due to the maximum inconvenience of refueling, since at the moment there is a healthier alternative. I guess that’s all. You can buy a tank abroad for 24-28 dollars, which is quite tolerable.
