Voopoo is constantly working on making users happy, so they launched the Doric series of PODs, which have already managed to gain trust with their simplicity and good taste. Having decided to continue this line, the company presented the Voopoo Doric Q POD kit – a slightly improved device with several interesting “features”.
General information
Voopoo Doric Q POD kit is a compact POD-system equipped with a medium capacity battery, designed for installation of ITO cartridges. The device is made as a pipe-mod or vape-pen – it’s a neat round device with many edges, thanks to which it has good ergonomics. The POD system is designed to work at constant power, so it is as easy to use and maintain as possible. It is activated by puffing and does not have any controls. The battery will be enough to work autonomously for two days, so the autonomy is quite decent. The device is designed to use ITO series cartridges, including those with interchangeable vaporizers of the same name. You can buy Voopoo Doric Q POD kit in seven colors – mint, pink, yellow, red, orange, blue and dark brown.

Doric Q Device Battery Pack
Many vapers associate Voopoo with box mod Drag, which at one time significantly changed the user’s idea of a quality device. But at the same time the company produces a very large range of submods and POD-systems that are steadily in demand among fans of delicious and flavorful vapor. One of the popular and relatively young series is the Doric line, distinguished by its simplicity and good flavor delivery. The successful sales of two devices in the series became the impetus for the company’s developers, who decided to continue it, which resulted in the Voopoo Doric Q POD kit.
The Voopoo Doric Q POD kit looks quite interesting, because on the one hand it is quite traditional pipe-mod or vape-pen (here everyone chooses how he likes to call the device), but on the other hand – the many faces on the surface immediately make the device a bit unusual. It should be said that the presence of edges positively affects the ergonomics of the POD system – it slips less in your hand. The case is completely plastic, so the device weight is very modest. We can’t say that the device is quite tiny, rather it is small – 95,6*23,2 mm, but it won’t take much space in your pocket.
This POD system uses a built-in 800 mAh battery, which (according to the manufacturer) will be enough to work autonomously for two days. The battery is charged using the USB Type-C connector located on the side of the device.
The Voopoo Doric Q POD kit is designed for a constant power of 12 watts, and the voltage supplied to the heating element will be 3.2-4.2 volts. Activation of the device is done by puffing. There is a small LED indicator on the side to monitor the battery level, charging and activation.
ITO Cartridge
Most vape manufacturers lately are trying to produce unified cartridges and vaporizers that fit several devices at once. And Voopoo is no exception, as Voopoo Doric Q POD kit is designed for installation of ITO cartridges – Cartridge, POD and X series. Interestingly, the POD and X variants are with ITO series interchangeable vaporizers, which are gaining popularity, successfully competing with PnP and TPP. The cartridge is held in the battery pack by magnets.
In addition to the ITO series cartridges released earlier, the manufacturer offers another one with the complicated name ITO Cartridge. It has a built-in vaporizer on the grid with 1.0 ohm resistance. There is no airflow adjustment; the default draw is tight, close to MTL. To refill the cartridge you need to take it out of the battery pack, open the silicone cap on the side and pour 2 ml of liquid. It is recommended to use salt nicotine based liquids with PG/VG 50/50.
Conclusions and impressions
We cannot say that Voopoo Doric Q POD kit is a very original and innovative device. In fact, it is a standard POD-system, but due to the versatility of interchangeable cartridges it is easy to use and maintain, as it is not difficult for a vaper to find consumables for it.
